Many of our previous members have gone on to West End and television stardom including the nations favourite tenor Alfie Boe, Cold Feet's John Thomson, Footballers Wives Helen Latham, Coronation Street's Tupele Dorgu and Liberty X star Jessica Taylor to name but a few.
Over the last 59 years the society has been presented with many awards for its musical productions and four years ago we decided to expand into pantomime and have won numerous awards from NODA for both our musical and pantomime productions.
Our most recent multi-award winning production was the Preston premiere of the West End hit 'La Cage Aux Folles' in 2011 at The Charter Theatre, Preston. Lancashire.
